This is so sad.

My anniversary is this week. For the life of me I can't remember if it's July 23 or July 24. I think this is a sign I've been married too long.

Guess I'd better go dig my wedding album out and see what the invitation says.

Dont feel too bad, Ive done that too--I am forever forgetting what year we got engaged & got married..and it's only been 3 years of marriage & 9 years total together--which isn't that long :)

We got engaged and married within 5 months, so that part's easy. I even know it was 1993. The actual day, not so sure of! I have no clue what day we got engaged.

Id probably forget the day too but Wes had it planned that it was the day in between our birthdays--July 16th. Otherwise, Im sure we'd both forget ;)

I don't forget our anniversary because for the past twenty years my husband and I always wish each other "happy anniversary" on the first of every month. Every month! Corny, huh?

A few years back we were videotaping the wife of a friend of ours for a video we were making for her husband. We took her back to where they got married and she reminded him of their special day and the planning involved and a few minutes after she mentioned the date she stopped and said, "Wait, that's not when we got married!" We NEVER let her forget that moment of forgetfulness and naturally I didn't edit that goof out of the final version.
